Well over 100 citizens crowded into Courtroom A — “the big courtroom” — Monday night to discuss the proposed opening of a “swingers’ club” in rural Acadia Parish.
The special meeting of the parish police jury was prompted, according to a notice posted last weekend, by concerns voiced by citizens opposed to the new business.
