Eunice community Christmas events begin

A bit of a cold snap coincides with Eunice Christmas events this week.
Thursday is the big day this week and next week.
The Eunice Community Concert Band, Community Choir & Children’s Choir will stage its annual Christmas Concert at 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday at the First Baptist Church, Park Avenue and 3rd Street, Eunice.
Tickets are $5 adults and $2 children under 12 and are available at the door.
The program selection includes Sparkle-jolly-twinkle-jingley, Thankful, Can You Hear the Christmas Bells, Who’s the Little Baby?, We Need a Little Christmas, The Holiday Tango, Happy Holiday/White Christmas, Christmas Portrait, Star of Bethlehem, Santa Baby, All I Want for Christmas Is You, Fantasy on Deck the Hall, and Wise Guys - Walkin’ in the Light.

Also on Thursday is the fourth annual Eunice Community Garden Christmas Festival from 5 to 7 p.m.
The event featuring activities for children and treats is held at the community garden, 2101 W. Ash St., Eunice.

On Thursday, Dec. 12, the Eunice Christmas Parade of Lights is to roll on 2nd Street starting at 6 p.m.
The parade, sponsored by the Eunice Chamber of Commerce, features Santa and Mrs. Claus.
