Eunice bust yields fentanyl valued at $15.6K, $835 in cash

A major drug bust in Eunice seized $8 in cash and nearly 3 ounces of fentanyl valued at $15,600, according to a news release from St Landry Parish Sheriff Bobby Guidroz.
Brandon Joshua Doran, 32, of the 200 block of Mathilda Street us charged with possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, transactions involving drug offenses, possession with intent to distribute Xanx and Adderall and possession of durg paraphernalia.
Guidroz stated that after weeks of developing intelligence from numerous sources narcotics detectives on Wednesday a search warrant at 220 Mathilda Street.
“The detectives had to breach the door where they made contact with Brandon Joshua Doran, the sole occupant of the home. Doran was advised of his rights and provided with a copy of the order for search and seizure,” the news release stated.
A search of the home produced the following:
Approximately 78 grams (Just under three ounces) of Fentanyl – Estimated street value of $ 15,600.00.
— $835 in U.S. currency;
— One blender containing suspected Fentanyl residue;
— 29.5 tablets of Xanax;
— 3 tablets of Adderall;
— 3 digital scales;
— 1 box of aluminum foil;
— 1 pack of mushroom gummies;
— 1 bottle of native mushroom capsules;
— 1 pack of dessert stardust mushroom gummies;
— 1 pack of silly dots mega dose; and
— 2 cellular phones.
