14th annual Taster's Choice

The 14th annual Eunice Community Health Center’s biggest fundraiser, the Taster’s Choice, was held Wednesday evening inside the Mumphrey Center at LSUE.
Crowds of hundreds of people attended and got to enjoy tasting different foods from different food categories.
Winners were announced during the evening. In the Amateur division, for Dessert, Cakes by Jacqueline-Chantilly cake; winning for Entree was Jo Jo Reed, chicken and sausage gumbo. Winning for Wildlife was Bertrand’s Printing for its’ Smoked duck gumbo; One Ok won the seafood for it’s Alligator chili; and the Spirit Award went to Bertrand’s Printing. In the Professional Division, winning for Dessert was Creations by Gramps, Wedding Cake; Love Bonez won in Entree for it’s Love Bonez Chili; and in the Seafood, Coushatta Casino Resort won for its’ Shrimp & Grits.
