The City of Eunice prevailed in a lawsuit seeking damages following the death of Tyrie Frederick after a fight during a Christmas concert at the Southeast Community Center on Dec. 23, 2017.
The plaintiffs had lost their case in the 27th Judicial District Court and the 3rd Circuit Court of Appeal judges affirmed the ruling.
