Now back at full strength, the St. Edmund Lady Jay softball team appears to be primed for another solid season.
St. Ed’s put together a pair of wins to run their overall record to 4-1 this season in beating Port Barre 16-4 then squeezing by South Beauregard 7-6 thanks to a Maddie Evans three-run home run in the top of the sixth inning.
