To help offset the ever rising costs associated with the village’s sewer system, the Chataignier Village Council voted to introduce an ordinance that would increase the sewer rates based on how many gallons each customer consumes.
A public hearing will be held on the proposed ordinance prior to next month’s meeting at 6:15 p.m. June 16.
