When former head volleyball coach Wayne Fontenot’s departure from Eunice High for Class 5A’s Acadiana High in Lafayette Parish to become that school’s head volleyball coach became public last week, it wasn’t a shock.
Fontenot has previously worked in the parish and Acadiana has been upgrading its facilities at a rapid pace in recent years.
