Sheriff Bobby J. Guidroz reports, “Earlier this summer, the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office
received a complaint involving improper conduct between an adult and a juvenile. Our Juvenile
Detectives began the investigation, ultimately receiving a statement from Lejeune as to her
involvement in the incident. Based on the results of this investigation, criminal charges have
been filed and an arrest made.” Sheriff Guidroz concludes, “Research in these areas indicate
that victims of these crimes suffer long-term difficulties and disorders. Our intervention
through the prompt notification by the families involved, can initiate the necessary healing
process and hopefully restore normalcy to the lives of all involved.”
