Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at an 11. a.m. Mass in Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Scott for John Verzwyvelt, Sr., age 95, who passed away on August 20, 2025 in Lafayette, Louisiana. John passed away peacefully while holding hands with his beloved wife of 68 years, Dorothy “Dot” Caballero Verzwyvelt, surrounded by family and friends.
