Chataignier swears in new councilman, OKs sewer rates

CHATAIGNIER — After months of deliberations that turned into arguments and going back-and-forth with crunching numbers, the Chataignier Village Council approved new sewer rates during its meeting held Monday, Aug. 18.
As the meeting began, Mayor Justin Darbonne reported Councilwoman Marie Calvin has announced her resignation from the council.
