A meeting called Wednesday provided an opportunity for the Eunice mayor and police chief to discuss funding approved by the Legislature and governor for projects here.
In a news release, Parish President Jessie Bellard stated the the projects were being announced.
However, the most of the funding was made public in June after the Legislature adjourned.
