The State Bond Commission approved St. Landry Parish borrowing $4 million to pay past and current expenses at its meeting Thursday in Baton Rouge.
The amount is a reduction from $4.6 million requested at the commission’s August meeting.
The approval also is for the revenue notes to be paid in 12 months rather than 13 months.
