The Tri-Parish workforce in August dropped by 268 people or 0.4% from the August 2024 count, according to the Louisiana Workforce Commission.
The workforce count includes those employed and those looking for a job. The employment numbers are not seasonally adjusted for factors such as holidays and weather.
The Tri-Parish August workforce totaled 68,314 compared to 68,046 in August 2024.
