Eunice Food Bank Food Drive set for Tuesday

    The annual Eunice Food Bank Food Drive is scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 9 from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m.
    Eunice Food Bank director for the past 10 years, Mary Ann Guillory, said all non-perishable food items, staples, toiletries, hygiene products, diapers, dry goods, boxed macaroni and cheese, rice, flour, dry beans, toilet paper, paper towels and more are needed. Monetary donations will be accepted as well.
    Last year the Eunice Food Bank Food Drive received 3.5 tons of food. This year Guillory is hoping for more. Guillory added, “Our community is generous and gracious. I know people will come through and help others that are in need.”
    The Eunice Food Bank is located at 2101 West Ash in Eunice behind the DMV. For more information, call the Eunice Food Bank at 337-457-7541 or 337-305-0876. The Eunice Food Bank is opened Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m. until noon.
