The annual Eunice Pro-Life Walk took place at noon Thursday, Jan. 22. The walk began in front of Picou’s Drug Store on North 2nd street in downtown Eunice, and concluded at the City Hall parking lot and pavilion. St. Edmund High School students, along with others, were participants.
Phyllis Pere, director of March for Life, led and encouraged the group to continue in pray for those that don’t have a voice. Pastor of Word Ministries, the Rev. Caleb Simien, and President of GEMA, led the group in prayer, to continue to celebrate life, praying for all who all lost their lives through abortion, and for us to continue to stand for the rights of the unborn.
There was a rosary at 11 a.m. inside the Jeanmard Center, on North 3rd, prior to the Pro-Life Walk. (Photos by Myra Miller)
