EUNICE-It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Abigail LaFleur Gartman announces her passing on Friday, July 26, 2019 at her home at the age of 60. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice at 3:30 pm on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 with Deacon Gary Gaudin officiating.
Abigail was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother. Her life revolved around family, especially her grandchildren. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 14 years, Ronnie Joseph Gartman of Eunice; daughter, Shayla Thibodeaux and Curley Vallaire III of Eunice; three brothers, Raven LaFleur and wife, Leila of Eunice, James LaFleur and wife, Jackie of Point Blue, and Steven LaFleur of Eunice; three sisters, Gretta Bergeron and husband, Donald, Nita DeRanger and husband, Michael, and Charlene Gatte and husband, Carl, all of Eunice; and the joys of her life, her three grandchildren, Jaslynn Marie, Abriona Janae, and Kashton James Ozima Vallaire; father of her daughter, Ricky Thibodeaux of Eunice; as well as extended family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Alverda Bertrand LaFleur; and sister and brother in-law, Brenda Thibodeaux and husband, Lloyd.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice on
Monday, July 29th from 2:00 pm until 10:00 pm and again on Tuesday, July 30th from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon Gary Gaudin will recite a Rosary at 6:00 pm on Monday.
