Memorial services will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2021, at 3 p.m. in Martin & Castille Funeral Home, DOWNTOWN, for Aldrey Joseph Briscoe, II, 64, who passed away on October 14, 2021.
The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille’s DOWNTOWN location on Saturday, November 6, 2021, from 10 a.m. until time of services.
Rod Touchet, his cousin, will lead the funeral services joined by his niece, Kelly Sloan Lofton, providing the Eulogy. A private interment will be held at a later date in Mount Calvary Cemetery in Eunice.
Survivors include his grandchildren, Tristyn E’lise Briscoe and Gentry Luke Briscoe; his sister, Gail Adcock and her husband, Glenn; his niece, Kelly Sloan Lofton and her husband, Faron; his great nephews, Bailey Sloan, and Ethan Sloan; his former wife and mother of his son, Claudia Briscoe.
He was preceded in death by his father, Aldrey Joseph Briscoe, his mother, Versie Briscoe Schwartz; and his son, Clement “Luke” Briscoe.
Al, as most people knew him, was born and raised in Eunice Louisiana. He graduated from Eunice High School and Cosmetology School. He moved to Lafayette and started his own salon, Al’s Hair Techniques.
He loved people and from working and teaching for Farouk systems he got to meet and be loved by many. A very proud moment was winning Outstanding Educator of the year from Farouk systems for whom he did demonstrations all over the world. Al adored his family and each of his beloved dogs.
