EUNICE–It is with the heaviest hearts that the family of Amanda Istre LeBlanc announces her sudden passing on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at her home at the age of 62. Graveside services are pending at this time with Bishop Lonnie Guillory officiating.
Amanda lived a simple life and loved her family. As a mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, Amanda will be remembered by all, especially by her two sons, Jeremiah LeBlanc and wife, Gwen of Eunice, and Jacob Istre and wife, Mary of Alberta, AL; her brothers, George Allen Istre of Florida, and Raymond Istre and wife, Angelia of Oak Grove; her sister, Wendy Istre of Kinder; seven grandchildren, Jeremiah LeBlanc, Jr., Amiah LeBlanc, Mariah LeBlanc, Nehemiah LeBlanc, Kaylor Istre, Kason Istre, and Kohen Istre; as well as extended family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Mary Faulk Istre; and grandson, Rhett Istre.
At the request of the family, visitation is pending at this time and donations can be made directly to the funeral home.
