CAMP LEJEUNE NORTH CAROLINA -Sergeant Andrew Edward Courville, 24, died Sept. 16. Sergeant Courville, born Oct. 17, 1994, was a 2013 graduate of St. Louis High School in Lake Charles.
He served honorably in the United States Marine Corps for the past six years as a machine gunner and became a Marine Raider Critical Skills Operator.
Sergeant Courville will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to duty, his physical and mental strength, and infectious laugh. He enjoyed all outdoor acitivities including fishing and hunting and playing with his dog Odin.
Sergeant Courville will be sadly missed by all family and friends who loved him.
He is survived by his wife Sergeant Olivia Ornoski Courville of North Carolina, his parents Blake and Tammy Courville of Lake Charles, his brothers Cade Courville, Grant Courville, all of Lake Charles, his grandparents Raymond and Carol Horn of DeRidder, Al and Germaine Courville of Eunice, his uncles Raymond “Bub” Horn Jr. of Lake Charles, Blake Horn (Cathy) of Houston, and Kevin Courville of Lafayette.
Services will be held at Johnson Funeral Home in Lake Charles on Saturday, Sept. 28 at 3 p.m. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m., with a Rosary at 2:30 p.m.
