EUNICE~It is with the heaviest hearts and great sadness that the family of Anthony "Tony" Andrepont announces his passing on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at Bienville Medical Center in Arcadia at the age of 55. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 12:00 noon on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice. Burial to follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Father Sensat officiating.
Anthony was known by his close friends and family as "Tony" and he served in the United States Navy as a FMF Corpsman from 1982 to 1991 and retired as a Criminal Investigator for the St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office. He loved hunting, fishing and time spent with his family. Tony was an avid LSU and Saints fan and a notorious jokester. He was a loving husband, son, father, brother and friend. There was always a place in your heart for him. He will be greatly missed by everyone he touched. Tony leaves behind his wife of twenty two years, Connie Rougeau Andrepont of Eunice; his son, Adam Andrepont of Eunice; his father, Nelton "Blue" Andrepont of Eunice; his six brothers, Marcus Andrepont of Lafayette; T- Joe Overmyer and James Milner both of Lake Charles, Luke Guillory of Kinder, George and Jody Francois both of Eunice; his four sisters, Barbara Lantz of Jennings, Tina Guillory of Eunice, Donna Miller of Hermitage, Arkansas and Johnnie Faye Gore of Silsby, TX; as well as extended family and friends. "The most painful goodbyes are the ones that are never said and never explained."
He is preceded in death by his loving Uncle and Aunt, Herbert and Versie Francois.
At the request of the family, visitation was held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice on Friday, November 25th from 11:00 am until 10:00 pm and again on Saturday, November 26th from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon David Guillory  recited a Rosary at 6:00 pm Friday.
