MAMOU – Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Mamou on Tuesday, January 14, 2020, for Barbara Ann Brignac, 80, who passed away peacefully on January 10, 2020 in Mamou, LA surrounded by her loving family.
Father Billy Massie, pastor of St. Ann’s Catholic Church, will conduct funeral services.
Burial will take place in Ortego Cemetery.
Barbara Ann Brignac was born in Eunice, LA on December 29, 1939. Barbara was a devoted mother, grandmother and friend. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed camping, cooking, and spending time outdoors fishing and shrimping in Vermillion Bay. She worked as a school bus driver for many years in the Vidrine area.
She is survived by her three sons, Randy Guillory of Reddell, Ferrel Brignac, Jr. and wife Kristie of Barber Spur and Jason Brignac and wife, Linda of Pine Prairie; 11 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ferrel Brignac, Sr.; two sons, Tony Guillory and Nason Guillory; two sisters, Verna Bergeron and Mary Cormier.
The family requests that visitation be observed at Ardoin’s Funeral Home of Mamou on Monday, January 13, 2020 from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM on Monday. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 from 8:00 AM until time of service.
