Carl Anthony Fontenot passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at the age of 67. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at 10 a.m. at St Thomas More Catholic Church with Father Clinton Sensat officiating. Burial will follow in St. Thomas More Cemetery.
At the request of family, visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Quirk and Son Funeral Home of Eunice with a Rosary at 6 p.m. by Angie Huckaby. Visitation will resume at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 until time of Services.
Carl was a loving husband for 40 years, devoted father and grandfather.
He coached his boys in baseball, basketball and soccer and had a passion for deer hunting along with the great outdoors.
He was well known among local farmers for his rice drier trouble shooting abilities.
He will be greatly missed but always loved and in the hearts of family and friends.
Carl is survived by his wife, Chawana Vidrine Fontenot; two sons, Christopher Fontenot and wife Hillary, Corey Fontenot and wife Kerri; four grandchildren, Elais, Aday Grace, Eden and Shepherd.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Ruth Lintzen Fontenot; two sisters, Cheryl Richard and Deborah Carrier.
