Carol Blanchard Fontenot passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2021, at the age of 63. A Celebration of Life was held from 1 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, July 17, 2021, at Quirk & Son Funeral Home of Eunice.
Carol is survived by her husband, Russell G. Fontenot; her mother Bettty Vezina Blanchard; her siblings, Robert Blanchard and wife Denise, Leeann Olivier and husband Randy, Donna Thibodeaux, Kurt Blanchard and wife Nelda and Eric Blanchard; one son, Anthony Aguillard; two grandchildren, Alexis Aguillard and Dustin Aguillard; and two great-grandchildren, Cayden Lejeune and Sadie Aguillard.
She was preceded in death by her father Edward Blanchard, paternal grandparents Ed and Agnes Francois Blanchard, maternal grandparents Ethan and Lawrence Olivier Vezina.
