MAMOU – Catholic funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Mamou on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 for Carol Guillory, 76, who passed away on Friday, July 31, 2020.
Deacon Chuck Ortego will conduct funeral services.
Burial will follow In the New St. Ann’s Cemetery.
Carol Guillory was born in Mamou on February 4, 1944 to Aldes and Hattie Rider Guillory. Carol loved being outdoors working his vegetable garden and fishing. He also enjoyed dancing and was a master of crossword puzzles. Carol was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by five daughters: Lisa Johnson of Mamou, Suzanne Ortego and husband Dana of Richard, Angela Stanford and husband Jason of Opelousas, Danette Guillory of Eunice and Karolyna Baham and husband Chris of Princeton; four sons: Joshua Guillory of Mamou, Caroll Guillory and wife Danja of Houston, Texas, James Guillory of Eunice, and Paul Guillory of Lake Charles; 21 grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
Carol is preceded in death by his parents Aldes and Hattie Rider Guillory, one baby sister, and great grandchild, Burton Lucas Picard.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held Tuesday, August 4, 2020 from 10:00 AM until time of service.
