EUNICE~It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family announces the passing of our beloved mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter and friend, Chassity Nicole Sittig on Saturday, December 03, 2016 at Acadian Medical Center in Eunice. She was 38. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, December 07, 2016 at Ardoin's Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice. Burial will follow in the St. Paul Cemetery with Deacon Gary Gaudin officiating.
Chassity was a homemaker who loved Cajun music and taking pictures. She was a most loving, caring mother to Da'Shae Davis of Eunice; a loving daughter to Ronald and Judy Sittig of Eunice; her three loving brothers, Clint Sittig and wife, Tammy, Donnie Sittig and wife, Tyler and Ronnie Sittig and wife, Tabitha all of Eunice; a loving granddaughter to Mary Jane Blanchard; godchild to Cindy Blanchard and Joe Sittig; and a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews and a great niece; as well as extended family and friends. Her passing was a sudden and unexpected loss for her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Icelynne Sittig; nephew, Nicholas Sittig; brother, Shane Sittig; sister, Ann Renee Boenig; grandparents, Rodney Blanchard, Sr.; Agnes and Johnny Moss and Armand Sittig.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice on Tuesday, December 6th from 11:00 am until time of services on Wednesday, December 7th. Deacon Gary Gaudin will recite a Rosary at 5:00 pm Tuesday.
