EUNICE-It is with heavy hearts that the family of Clara Fruge announces her passing on Thursday, May 03, 2018 at her home at the age of 94. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 1:00 pm on Sunday, May 06, 2018 at Ardoin's Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice. Burial will follow in the St. Paul Mausoleum with Deacon Gary Gaudin officiating.
Clara, a loving mother, sister, grandmother and friend, will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her, especially her daughters, Nancy Ryder of Eunice and Diane Fruge of Gainsville, FL; four grandchildren, Jamie Fruge, Byron Fruge, Lance Fruge, and Jacob Ryder; brother, Elroy Miller of Texas; three great granddaughters, Kieran Fruge, Giannie Fruge, and Ariana Fruge; as well as extended family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James O. Fruge; son, Deaton Fruge; parents, Etienne and Izora Mier Miller.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice on Saturday, May 5th from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and again on Sunday, May 6th from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon Gary Gaudin will recite a Rosary at 6:00 pm Saturday evening.
