David “June” Middlebrooks, Jr. passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at the age of 81. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church with Brother Orville Rogers officiating. Inurnment will follow at a later date.
At the request of family, visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until time of Services on Saturday at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church.
“June” is survived by his wife, Barbara Myers Middlebrooks; onw son, Gordon Middlebrooks and wife Brandy; four daughters, Dorris Jeanne Middlebrooks, Jerry Dale Guillory and husband Kenneth, Kimberly Lee Richard and husband Lance, Jennifer Kay Middlebrooks and husband Ray Menard; three sisters, Elva Timme, Irene Hatchell, Pearl Mosely; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, David Middlebrooks, Sr. and Addie Laughlin Middlebrooks; two brothers, WA “Boot” Middlebrooks, Herman Middlebrooks; four sisters, Verbie Sandifer, Mary Lou Taylor, Merle Bertrand, Shirley Middlebrooks.
