EUNICE~It is with heavy hearts that the family of Donald L. "D.J." Johnson announces his passing on Monday, October 30, 2017 in his home at the age of 49. A visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice on Friday, November 03, 2017 from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm.
A proud veteran, D.J. served his country in the United States Marine Corp. He was a loving husband, son, father, brother, grandfather and friend and will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him. His greatest joy in love was his family; his loving wife of fourteen years, Misty D. Johnson of Eunice; his parents, Donald and Bonnie Anderson Johnson of North Platte, NE; his three sons, Kalab M. Johnson and wife, Tara of Omaha, NE, Devon Delaney and wife, Alisha and Kolby R. Johnson all of Eunice; his brothers, Lonnie James Johnson and wife, Rochelle of Texas and Ronnie Paul Johnson of Missouri; his sister, Valerie Chitty and husband, Ron of North Platte, NE; one grandson, Leo C. Zemartis; as well as extended family and friends. His passing was a sudden and unexpected loss for his family and friends.
