Memorial services will be held Friday, November 16, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. in Evangeline Memorial Gardens Chapel in Carencro for Dorothy “Dot” Daigle, age 74, who passed away Monday, November 12, 2018 at Encore Nursing Home in Crowley.
Interment will be Bellevue Memorial Park at a later date. Brother Mitchell Pierrotti of Freedom Church will officiate at the services.
Mrs. Daigle was a native of Church Point and a resident of Rayne.
Survivors include her husband, Mel Daigle of Rayne; two daughters, DeAnna Fontenot of Chicago, IL and Krista F. Courville and her husband, Jessie, of Richard; six grandchildren, Kayla B. Hingle, Michael Goldberg, Gabrielle Williams, Taylor Goldberg, Brett Williams and Jordan Goldberg; one great granddaughter, Loralai Hingle; and two sisters, Anna Guidry of Youngsville and Betty Delahoussaye of Church Point.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Bertrand Duplechin and the former Mary Lyons; one daughter, Kathy F. Goldberg; and one sister, Judy Venable.
A rosary will be prayed 5:00 p.m. Friday in the funeral home by Gail Wheeler.
The family requests visiting hours be observed from 3:00 p.m. Friday until service time on Friday.
