EUNICE–Funeral services for Mrs. Eldee Allison, 91, will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at 11 a.m. at St. Mathilda Catholic Church in Eunice. The visitation will be observed from 8 a.m. until service time at Bishop Ceasar Hall in Eunice. Burial will be in St. Mathilda Catholic Church Cemetery in Eunice. Father Hampton Davis will officiate the funeral mass.
On Saturday, January 29, 2022, the Angels of the Lord, with special orders in hand, escorted Eldee to her heavenly home.
Filled with empty wells of loneliness will be three daughters: Rosaline Williams and Dolores (Elijah) Williams both of Eunice, and Mildred Balque of San Antonio, TX; two sons: Rev. Wilfred (Kelley) Allison of Tacomo, WA and Clifford Allison of Eunice, one sister: Shirley Hudgins of Lafayette, 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Bervick Allison, Sr.; her parents: Vincent and Olivia Janice; one son: Bervick Allison, Jr.; one daughter: Esther Allison; one sister: Isabella Ceasar and two brothers: Walton and Wallace Johness.
Owens-Thomas Funeral Home of Eunice is in charge of arrangements.
