EUNICE~ Elenora Ann Jackson passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at the Southwest Medical Center in Lafayette. During her three short months here on Earth she touched many lives and was loved deeply by family and friends. Elenora always had a smile on her face and was just starting to find her voice, which she made well known. She was very alert and inquisitive, and loved to be involved in everyone and everything around her.
Her beautiful smile was unmatched and like no other. Her first laugh Monday night touched so many hearts. She loved sitting with daddy while listening to classical music or watching her favorite Saints game. One of mommy's favorite times with Nora, among them all, was on Saturday mornings when they would sing songs while learning her colors, shapes, and numbers. Elenora will always be the strongest force of love that her parents have ever known and she completely turned their world upside down in the most amazing way possible.
Her life was a beautiful, brief gift that will live on in the hearts of her parents, Damien and Stacie Jackson of Lafayette; Godfather, Eric Jackson and wife, Mia of Eunice; Godmother, Penny Beasley and husband, Gerald “Bubba” of Lafayette; Mawmaw Cathy Wallace and husband, Larry of Sulphur; Maternal grandfather, Ronnie Fontenot and wife, Tammy of Bernie, MO; Maternal grandmother, Marie Brazzel and husband, Frank of Ville Platte; as well as extended family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Carl and Mona Jackson; and maternal grandmother, Deborah Fontenot.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 pm on Wednesday, December 4th at Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Father Gil Dutel, officiating. Visitation will begin Wednesday at 10:00 am until time of services.
