Elton Darbonne passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2020 at the age of 84. A Private Graveside Service will be held on Monday, April 20, 2020 at St Louis Cemetery with Deacon Chuck Ortego officiating.
Elton is survived by four sons, Bobby Darbonne and wife Charlene, Michael Darbonne and wife Christine, Justin Darbonne and wife Paula, Kurt Darbonne and wife Christina; three daughters, Daffle Fontenot and husband Gary, Cheryl Cloud and husband Donald, Debbie Cloud and husband Leonard, Sr.; one brother, Melvin Darbonne; twenty grandchildren; twenty- four great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; the mother of his children, Hazel Miller Darbonne.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Bernadette Bellow Darbonne; two sons, Dale Darbonne and infant Gerald Darbonne; four brothers, Howard Darbonne, Delton Darbonne, Linus Darbonne, Ellius Darbonne; two sisters, Joyce Guidry, Agnes Thibodeaux.
