EUNICE~It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Emily "Angel" Stanford announces her passing on Saturday, July 07, 2018 at Acadian Medical Center at the age of 24. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 2:00 pm on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice. Burial to follow in the St. Paul Cemetery with Deacon Gary Gaudin officiating.
Emily known to many as "Angel", was very passionate about the few things that brought her joy in her life, which were shopping, four wheeler riding and surrounded by her family and friends especially her Dad. She loved life. She was a loving daughter, sister and friend and will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her especially her parents, Perry Stanford and Velva Deaville Stanford of Eunice; Vanessa Pierce of Mamou and Shane Chouest of Houma; significant other, Tristin Carlock of Eunice; her four brothers, Jason and Joshua Stanford both of Eunice, Perry Stanford, Jr of Iota and Dustin Pierce of Mamou; her six sisters, Amy Stanford and Heidi and Laurie Cifelli all of Eunice, Destini Pierce of Lake Charles, Shana Josephine of Florida and Hope Shepherd of Point Blue; as well as extended family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her sister, Roxy Stanford.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice on Thursday, July 12th from 10:00 am until time of services.
