It is with great sadness that the family of Ernest Fluckers Jr. announces his passing on Tuesday, Oct. 15 at 4:05 a.m. at Senior Village Nursing Home in Opelousas. He was 77.
A memorial service was held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26 at Frank Brothers Funeral Home in Eunice. Visitation was held from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. at Frank Brothers Funeral Home.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, especially his son Kenry J. Fluckers of Houston, Texas, brothers, Watty Jones of Ville Platte, Jake Fluckers of Shreveport, Leonard Ray Jones of Alexandria, Daniel Lee of Shreveport and David Guillory of Lake Charles, sisters, Ida Jones Skinner of Houston, Texas, Sybil Neville of Eunice, and Julia Guillory of Ville Platte, one grandchild, and two great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife and two sisters.
Frank Brothers Funeral Home in Eunice is in charge of all arrangements.
