Etienne Boone Sr. passed away on Thursday, Jan. 18, 2018, at the age of 80.
He was born Aug. 28, 1937.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, Jan. 22, 2018, at 2 p.m. at
First Baptist Church in Chataignier. Burial will follow at St. Louis Cemetery in Eunice.
Rev. Gary Mitchell will officiate.
At the request of the family visitation will begin on Monday, Jan. 22, 2018 at 8 a.m.
until time of services at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Chataignier.
Etienne is survived by four sons; Steven Boone and wife Elizabeth, Oscar Boone, Patrick Boone,
Ricky Boone, two daughters; Liz Francois and husband Clint, Vanessa Burnett and husband Jonathan, two brothers; LeRoy Boone and Stafford Boone, five sisters; Elaine Fortson, Berlain Sonnier, Elta Boone, Doris Olivier, and Bertha Matte, twelve grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Etienne was preceded in death by his parents, Felix Boone and Violet Godeaux Boone, his wife;
Carolyn Foster Boone and one son; Etienne Boone, Jr.
Quirk and Son Funeral Home in Eunice is in charge of the arrangements.
