Eva Mae Stevens Clark

EVA MAE STEVENS CLARK, 69, was born April 2, 1952 in Eunice, Louisiana to the late Murphy and Georgiana Guillory Stevens Sr.
She was joined in Holy Matrimony to the late Melven Clark Sr. and to this union six children were born. She was a member of Freedom Life Baptist Church.
Along with being a homemaker, she also enjoyed reading. Eva Mae was a loving mother. She departed this life Monday, January 24, 2022 at 10:57 p.m. in her residence surrounded by family.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughters, Takora (Vincent) Spencer, Tamara Stevens, Keatha (Michael) Poullard, and Mykeshia Clark; sons, Melven Clark Jr. and Marlon (Demetrica) Clark Sr.; sisters, Louanna Stevens, Louella Irvin, Joyce Vallare, and Marie Edwards; seventeen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melven Clark Sr., parents, Murphy and Georgiana Stevens Sr., grandchildren, Keya and Warren Poullard, and Deamontae Clark; sister, Mathilda A. Stevens; and brother, Murphy Stevens Jr.
Her visitation was held on Saturday, January 29, 2022 from 9 a.m. with her funeral following at 11 a.m., at Freedom Life Baptist Church located at 1132 North Martin Luther King Street in Eunice.
Pastor Dennis Gotreaux officiated. Burial was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
