EUNICE~It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family announces the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and friend, Evelyn Guillory on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at Eunice Manor at the age of 74. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Ardoin's Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice. Burial will follow in the St. Paul Cemetery with Pastor Alvin Ogea officiating.
Evelyn, a homemaker devoted her life to the care of her family, She was a kind and loving woman and spending time with her family and friends brought a great deal of joy to her life. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her especially her loving son, Luke Jason Guillory and wife, Janice of Kinder; ten grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren; as well as extended family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Camie and Eula McDaniel Fontenot; her former husband, Nelman Guillory and her long time acquaintance, Roy LeJeune.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice on Wednesday, February 27th from 11:00am until 10:00 pm and again on Thursday, February 28th from 10:00 am until time of services. Memories and dedication will be at 6:30 pm on Wednesday.
