Fred Landry, age 76, of Eunice, Louisiana, passed away, Friday, September 18, 2020. Clarksville Funeral Home of Clarksville, Texas is handling arrangements:
Dr. Fred Neal Landry, of Euncie, Louisiana, formerly of Clarksville, passed away, Friday, September 18, 2020, at his residence. Fred was born November 4, 1943, in Ft. Worth to Fred A. and Helen Kirkpatrick Landry. He was a member of St. Antony’s Catholic Church and was preceded in death by his parents; and a grandson, Christian Taylor. Dr. Landry was a Sigma Chi, he received his PHD in Business Administration from Union Institute of the South and taught Business and Economics at Louisiana State University in Eunice, Louisiana.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Deidri Roma Landry and Kayla Michelle Landry both of Euncie, Louisiana; grandchildren, Zoie Holly Ann Davenport and husband, Darrel, Cody Neal Landry and wife, Chelsa and Keith Arthur Burse and wife, Gabrielle; great grandchildren, Audrina and Olivia Davenport, Malaina Canfield, Sophia Kinard and Sianni and Kassi Burse; 2 sisters, Suzanne Lowe and husband, Marion and Michelle Slaton and husband, Tom Ed all of Clarksville and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 25, 2020, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Clarksville with Father Gavin Vaverek officiating. Burial will follow in Lanes Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
There will be no formal visitation.
