EUNICE~Our hearts are filled with sorrow as we announce the passing of our loving mother, sister, grandmother and friend, Georgia Lee Vice at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Lafayette. She was 86. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 1:00 pm on Friday, January 20, 2017 at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice. Burial will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Brother Bobby Hodentt officiating.
Georgia was retired from Sears Service Center, she loved crafting, animals, bake, shop and was very active with her church. She will be missed by all who knew and loved especially her two children, Vicki Manuel and husband, Alvin of Eunice and Steve Vice and wife, Gwen of Baldwin; her sister, Bonnie Enslinger of Hutchinson, Kansas; the five joys of her life her grandchildren, Scott Manuel, Nikki M. Daigle , Debra M. Theunissen, Kerri V. Comeaux and Michael Vice; twelve great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren; as well as extended family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Victor Leon Vice; parents, George and Maxine Thomas Almire.
At the request of the family visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice on Thursday, January 19th from 10:00 am until 8:00 pm and again on Friday, January 20th from 8:00 am until time of services.
