EUNICE~It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Hubert McGee announces his passing Tuesday, April 02, 2019 at Christus St. Patrick Hospital in Lake Charles at the age of 83.
A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Friday, April 05, 2019 at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice. Burial will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Father Matthew Hebert officiating.
Hubert was a farmer but most importantly he was a loving father, grandfather and friend and will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him. His greatest joy in life was his family, his son, Jeffery McGee and wife, Angel and Lori McGee Courville and husband, Robert all of Eunice; his four grandchildren, Vivian McGee LaFleur, Michael Courville, Tyler Courville and Matthew McGee; his five great grandchildren, John, Gavin, Jack, Triston and Hannah LaFleur; as well as extended family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Dolores Manuel McGee; his parents, Eulise and Vivian Courville McGee and a grandson, Derrick McGee.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice on Thursday, April 4th from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm and again on Friday, April 5th from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon Robbie Leger will recite a Rosary at 7:00 pm on Thursday.
