James Berkman Veillon passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at the age of 86. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 11 a.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church in Grand Prairie with Father Daniel Picard celebrant. Interment of ashes will follow in the Old Grand Prairie Cemetery.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2021 from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home of Eunice.
“Burke” is survived by two sons, Dr. Bernard Veillon and wife Meredith, Vincent Paul Veillon; one daughter, Ann Vivian Sanchez and husband Fernando; one sister, Joy Morein; six grandchildren, Luke, Zach, Camille, Vaughan, Sophia Lima, Francois; four great grandchildren, Dreagan, Eli, Flynn and Aurelia.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Aldes and Martha Roberie Veillon and one grandchild, Jacque.
