Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 30, at 1 pm in Gossen Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne for James Henry Albers II, 37, who died Monday, Jan. 28, 2019, at The Ellington Nursing Home in Rayne.
Pastor Todd Menard with Family Life Church in Lafayette will conduct the funeral services.
Survivors include wife, Amy Helo Albers of Rayne; son, Jackson Albers of Rayne; father, James “Jim” H. Albers and spouse Saundra of Sharpsburg, Georgia; mother, Terry Prince Richey and spouse Donald of Millbrook, Alabama; sister, Heidi Carreca of Atlanta, Georgia; brother, Joshua Albers and spouse Ashley of Newnan, Georgia.
The family requested visitation be observed in Gossen Funeral Home in Rayne on Tuesday, Jan. 29, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday, Jan. 30, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
