MAMOU-Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 PM at Ardoin’s Funeral Home of Mamou on Monday, October 7, 2019, for Jimmy Wayne Boone, 45, who passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 in Lafayette, LA.
Burial will take place in the Protestant Cemetery in Mamou.
Jimmy Wayne Boone was born in Eunice, LA on March 8, 1974 to his parents Ralland Ray Boone, Sr. and Barbara Nell Guillory Boone. Jimmy proudly served in the United States Air Force for over 20 years. He retired as an E6 Tech Sargent in 2012. He was a combat cameraman and served several tours of duty overseas. After his retirement he loved spending time with his family and all things cinema. He had no doubt in Christ. Jimmy will be loved and missed by everyone’s lives that he has touched.
He is survived by his parents, Ralland R. Boone, Sr. and Barbara Guillory Boone of Breaux Bridge; daughter, Trisha Boone Maxey and husband, Josh of Saltillo, MS; brother, Ralland R. Boone, Jr. and wife, Anne-Marie of Prairieville, LA; sister, Lori Boone Irmen and husband, Patrick of Lafayette, LA; three nieces, Taylor Thompson, Ashton Nichols and Britni Lollis; and four nephews, Garrett Thompson, James Boone, Hunter Boone and Caleb Lollis.
He is preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Alexson and Lorena Boone and maternal grandparents, Herman and Bessie Guillory.
The family requests that visitation be observed at Ardoin’s Funeral Home of Mamou on Monday, October 7, 2019 from 10:00 AM until time of service.
