EUNICE-Funeral services for Joseph Rogers “Rex” Thibodeaux, 66, will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 11:00 A. M. at St. Mathilda Catholic Church in Eunice, LA.
Visitation will be observed from 7:00 A. M. until time of service at Bishop Ceasar Hall in Eunice, LA. Burial will be in St. Mathilda Catholic Church Cemetery. Father Darren Eldridge will officiate the funeral mass.
On Saturday, September 9, 2017, at LSU Medical Center in Shreveport, LA, “Rex” was escorted to his heavenly home.
Filled with empty wells of loneliness will be: one daughters: Sheliqua (Nathaniel) Woodard of Bossier City, LA; his mother: Hester Thibodeaux; eight brothers: Manuel (Louvanna) Thibodeaux, Joseph Lamson (Cathy) Thibodeaux, John Grady (Gilda) Thibodeaux, John Gerald (Sadie) Thibodeaux, Joseph Clarin (Catherine) Thibodeaux, Joseph Clifton Thibodeaux, Marshall A. (Loretha) Thibodeaux, Kirby David (Faith) Thibodeaux, two sisters: Jacqueline Thibodeaux and Dr. Delores Thibodeaux; two grandchildren; Alexis and Wisdom Woodard and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Anxiously awaiting his arrival in heaven is his father, Ashton Thibodeaux; one brother, Lincoln Thibodeaux; and one sister: Elizabeth Thibodeaux Allison.
Owens-Thomas Funeral Home of Eunice is in charge of arrangements.
