Joyce Howze Benson passed away on Saturday , December 10, 2016, at the age of 74.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 14, 2016, at 11:00 a.m.
at Quirk and Son Funeral Home in Eunice.
Burial will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery #2 in Breaux Bridge, La.
Joyce is survived by her husband, Fred Abston of Silas, AL,one son, Michael Benson and wife Carolyn of St. Martinville, La.
two daughters, Debra Richardson of Maurice and Judy Shaleesh and husband Tony of Austin, Texas;
two sisters, Nadine Harvin of California and Dolores Holland of C A;
and four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Joyce was preceded in death by her first husband, Jewell E. Benson;
her parents, Henry Howze and Delia Howze;
one brother,Royston Howze; and one sister, Katherine Neubauer;
At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 from 9: 00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
with the burial at 1:00 PM
