It is with great sadness that the family of Lillie Mae Toussaint Dupre announces her passing on Sunday, July 18, 2021 at 11 a.m. at her residence in Eunice. She was 85.
A celebration of life will be celebrated on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 10 a.m. at New Zion Baptist Church in Eunice.
Interment will be at Mount Olive Cemetery in Eunice with Rev. Allen W. Ben of New Zion Baptist Church officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday, July 24, 2021 from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. at New Zion Baptist Church.
Lillie Mae enjoyed attending church until her health prevented her. She also enjoyed cooking, baking, watching TV and spending time with her family and friends.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, especially her seven sons, Joseph John Dupre, Charlie James Dupre, Joseph Dupre, Lee Dupre, all of Eunice, David Dupre of Lake Charles, Frank Dupre of Eunice and Kevin Dupre Sr. of Moss Bluff, one daughter, Linda Dupre Gallow of Sulphur, one brother, James Toussaint of Eunice, one sister, RoseMary Toussaint Greene of Eunice, 49 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents Hosea and Edna Toussaint, her husband Albert Dupre Sr., one daughter, Lena Mae Dupre, three sons, Albert Dupre, Jr. Marvin Dupre Sr. and George Dupre Sr. and one grandson, Deondre’ Lemar McKenzie.
Pall bearers will be Charlie McKenzie, Kyle Semien Jermaine Gallow, Kevin Dupre Sr., David Dupre and Lee Dupre.
Frank Brothers Funeral Home in Eunice is in charge of all arrangements.
