EUNICE~Our mom, Linda L. Thibodeaux, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 in the comfort of her home with her loving family by her side at the age of 69.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 5, 2020 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice. Burial will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Father Hampton Davis, Celebrant.
Linda was a big supporter of Eunice High School Athletics and Band as well as helping summer league baseball. Linda managed numerous convenience stores and truck stops. She was a catechism teacher for many years at St. Anthony Catholic Church.
But most of all she was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend and her memory will live on in all who knew and loved her, especially her three sons, Donnie Thibodeaux, Jr and wife, Erica of Eunice, Derwin Thibodeaux and wife, Charlotte of Lafayette and Dwayne Thibodeaux and wife, Sonya of Parks; the joy of her life her one grandson, Colton Thibodeaux; her four brothers, Larry LeDoux of Pasadena, TX; Doug LeDoux and wife, D’Chelle of Pearland, TX, Robert LeDoux of Pine Prairie and Joey LeDoux of Simpsonville, S.C.; one sister, Virginia Clay of Eunice as well and extended family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Donnie Thibodeaux, Sr. and parents, Joseph “Toot” and Dorothy Gautreaux LeDoux.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice on Thursday, June 4 from 3 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. and again on Friday, June 5 from 8 a.m. until time of services. Deacon Gary Gaudin will recite a Rosary at 6 p.m. on Thursday.
Pallbearers are Donnie, Derwin and Dwayne Thibodeaux, Doug, Robert and Joey LeDoux.
