EUNICE-Funeral services for Mr. Linus Allison, Sr., age 76, will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 11:00 A. M. with the visitation beginning at 8:00 A. M. at Greater True Light Baptist Church in Eunice, LA. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary. Pastor Jermaine Tezeno will officiate the homegoing ceremony.
On Friday, May 31, 2019, at Acadian Medical Group Specialty Hospital in Lafayette, LA, time drew back the curtain and brought to a close, the end of day for our beloved Linus.
Cherishing fond memories of him will be his devoted wife: Mona Wanda Allison of Eunice, LA; five daughters: Andrea and Linussa Allison, Sereta Bobino and Ramona Malveaux all of Eunice, LA, and Raven Malveaux of Houston, TX; four sons: Hiriando, Dareth and Linus Allison, Jr., and Raymond Malveaux, Jr. all of Eunice, LA; seven sisters: Dorothy Miller of Beaumont, TX, Lena Bryant, Mary Ann (George) Grant, Bonnie (Calvin) Dupre, Cynthia Hynson, Jacqueline (Kenneth) Frelow and Angelia Allison all of Houston, TX; three brothers: Rogers (Bettye) Allison of Eunice, LA, Camell R. Allison of Friendswood, TX and John Fitzgerald Allison of Houston, TX; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Rev. Launey Allison and Mary Williams.
