IOTA~It is with heavy hearts that the family of Malcolm Lee Doucet, I announces his passing on Friday, April 07, 2017 in the comfort of his home at the age of 62. A Private Memorial service to honor the life and memory of Malcolm will be announce at a later date.
Malcolm was a fitter welder and loved to cook. He enjoyed life especially the times he spent with his family. He was a loving father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather and friend and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Left behind to cherish his memories are his three children, Emily Pousson and husband, Shelby of Iota, Malcolm Lee Doucet, II of Egan and Brandy Leger and husband, Scott of Evangeline; five siblings, Glenn Doucet of Iota, Ronald Doucet of Eunice, Cecile Doucet of Iota, Jan Doucet of Iota and Todd Doucet of Arcadia; the seven joys of his life his grandchildren, Colleen Miller, Keifer Pousson, Shelia Leger, Saylor Leger, Josh Sensat, Drake Darbonne and Kelly Trahan; eight great grandchildren; as well as extended family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Renalla Sue Doucet; parents, Lawrence and Leta LeJeune Doucet.
